Chinese Premium Domains – A Coincidental Attempt to Further Boost the .Com’s Reigns.
All things are working for good - is a biblical phrase. This same particular phrase is recently proving to be truth in domain name industry. My curiosities as to the way things are happening in the domain industry, these days, are impressive and very interesting and worth writing about.
The ongoing release of hundreds of new domain extensions by the
Internet Corporation for Assigned Names
and Numbers (ICANN) is purposely acted, in order to reduce the high concentrations
of demands on the generic top level domain extensions; especially, on the .com,
and to provide more rooms for people to access the internet via another alternative
extensions.
But to my surprise in
the recent time, we can clearly see the emergence of the Chinese premium
domains as a very strong boost on .com extension.
I am saying these, for real, because about 90%
of Chinese premium domains are found with this king of extensions, and it does
not give any room for any other extensions to dominate in the ongoing trend,
nor any of the new extensions could come closer to it.
Once again in 2015, this is the repetition of what has
happened at the inception of internet, in the early 70s when .com began its
reign, until today. And that is why I mentioned in one of my past articles that
we are in a - New Done of Domain Industry. Though, there are other generics and
country codes like .net, .cc and .top which are likely to share little out of the success of the Chinese
premium names, but unlike the huge attentions and focus people are given to
.com.
The Chinese domain name investors themselves are not even seems
to cherish their own country code .cn or .com.cn; but of course, I can understand
and reason with them, for fear of loss of money as that would be amounted to careless
business attitude.
However, at this juncture, I wish to resfrain for anyone to
contribute

Chinese Premium Domain Name, Is It Not Too Late to Get the Good Ones?
Image from namepros |
In the middle of this year precisely in June, 2015 the spikes
on four letters (LLLL.com) and four digit/ Numbers (NNNN.com) began and now in
October the increase of the projection of the spike is going too fast for low
cash capital investors to get the good ones.
Can we say again, like the common saying of the experienced
domain investors as they usually say - It is too late to get the good .com domains.
I have just observed that if care is not taken, by the end of
this year, God knows, the Chinese domain investors could have bought all
available premium domains in the aftermarkets and also register all of those low hand
reach fruits could have completely be harvested by the fast ones among them and
possibly, those non Chinese who understood the logic behind the trend could
join them and possibly leave the fruit on the high trees where hands
cannot easily reach for harvest.
Surprisingly, can you imagine that domain investors are even in
the recent time scrambling for 5 to 9 letters and 4 to 9 numeric are now on fast
tracks of investors, though, one can still get the good ones among these types
of domain names on .com. I am also surprised to read about some Chinese investors on namepros.com
that bought 30,000 domains on .net extension and another Chinese investor Mr. Xie registered new 33,000 premium six digits NNNNNN.coms premium domains in just two days on 13th and 14th of September,
2015
Another surprise is that it has got to the stage where investors are buying 3 letters from corporate end users with the hope of reselling.
Another surprise is that it has got to the stage where investors are buying 3 letters from corporate end users with the hope of reselling.
The battle is getting
tough and tougher on daily basis and the rich are getting richer in domain
investment business. But above all, there is one impression I would love to put
aright and that is to give courage to the startup investors to believe that it
is never too late to get into this business. Provided one can do a lot of
research and diligence in order to know where to cut corners.
4 ways to Cut Corners
in Premium Domain Investment:
i. First
and foremost, there is the need to learn the tricks and understand all about
what makes up the Western and Chinese
Premium domains.
ii. Be ready to take a sensible risk of purchasing when due diligent are being made.
iii. Study
a new market and watch when to purchase before the market gets ripped; but that
could tie down your money, but however, there is hope of making money ahead.
iv. Buy
premium domains when you can still afford to buy them within your available
capital or profits.
What Are Premium
Chinese Domain Name?
A brief note collected from Giuseppe Grazino – in his
comprehensive starter Guide posted on October 6th 2015. And another
comprehensive post and review about someone who purchased 30,000 Chinese premium domains on .net extension, by Shane
Cultura In his website.
Chinese premium are in two ways; either numeric or letters,
they also come in several typical patterns.
The Chinese premium are combinations of those alphabets
excluding vowels i.e. A, E, I, O, U and letter V because letter V is not
available in Chinese syllables, also, stay away from double 00 and 4 in case of numerics.
You can have them registered in either .com or .net – It is very rear
to get a new one for hand registration in four characters .com, but there are less
than 150,000 of .net left for registration as of today. You can register your domains also in other ccTLD extensions,
especially .cc which is among the hottest country codes, I am sure of. The new extension .top is also a good one for
registration.
Chinese Premium Domain Patterns:
There are several patterns of the domain names - they are:
1 AAAA (eg pppp.com)
2. ABAB (koko.com or cmcm.com)
3. AAAB or BAAA, ABBA (eg. bbbr.com prrr.com, prrp.com)
4. AABA, ABAA (eg. ggrg.com, rdrr.com)
These patterns can be applied to other more numbers such as
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and more I have seen somebody who registered 12 digits.
But however, remember that - one major logic in domain name
is, the shorter the combinations the better and so it will be liquid-able.
If anyone can still do a much tensed searching, it may be possibly
to still find some mixed characters pattern such as listed above i.e. NNLL or
LLNN, NLNL or either way.

domain names please visit namepros.com

Chinese Premium Domain Name Trend, A New Done for Domain Name Industry.
No doubt about the facts that the ongoing talk of the town in the domain
industry is the Chinese Premium Domain Name Trend and it looks like it
is a new done for Domain Name Industry.
It all began in the early 60s to late 70s, when there were only two heavy computers connected together with cable as a means of communication from one user to the other user sitting in front of each of the two computer systems. That was the genesis of email sending on internet; it was done via electronic cords connected from one system to the other like a Child's play. After that, they realized the need for computer engineers and programmers to find a more sophisticated and higher technology means that could enable them send emails and files to other next or far computers that were not in their vicinity without any cable connections.

After that, they realized the need for computer engineers and programmers to find a more sophisticated and higher technology means that could enable them send emails and files to other next or far computers that were not in their vicinity without any cable connections.
The first time ever was in 1969, a
network of more computers without any cord were connected by the US Department
of Defense's Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) was contracted to handle
the project in which they were able to send and received emails from more and
far computers; though, the systems were made to transfer information via IP (Internet Protocol)
and not via readable email address like what we recently recognized as email
via domain name.
Shortly after that in late 1969, sending of emails on domain name and other files were been sent on the
ARPAnet network of 62 computers that were connected and.
Finally in early 80’s, another advanced
protocol was proposed and led; a team of two Americans Paul V. Mockapetris a computer scientists and another
internet pioneer Jon Postel, both of them successfully
breakthrough from ARPANET initiative, when
they made a more sophisticated system, in which Domain Name System (DNS) was
invented; a type of protocol that enable sending of emails via domain names and
makes it easy for everyone to recognize the sender of every message through
domain names, rather than the IP address that were used in the previous
protocol. And up till today, the system of sending emails through domain names remains
valid and highly accepted till today.
Domain Name's New Done:
Meanwhile in the 20th
century, to be precised from year 2013, the ICANN
began rolling out more new domain name extensions for internet users, to provide
more rooms for startups to access internet and also for them to bring their various businesses online; as it was observed that there were shortages of generic domain
names in the market for thousands of these startups. While that is still in progress,
another serious and trendy spikes suddenly initiated by the Chinese domain name
investors, the momentum that is making things looks different, and no one seem to know when the trend could end, as it is not visible to anyone.
However, with the looks on the ongoing trend and based on many facts as stated below; it seems the trend is going to be a continuous one. However, the following backgrounds are my major reasons behind my conclusion and in addition to the principle of demand and supply which is also accounting for the ongoing trend:
Here Are The Impulses Behind the Chinese Premium Domains Trend:
1. Their population factor; Chinese
population is one seventh of the entire world population and
2. Their level of internet users
are high and playing the vital role in the ongoing drive in their chosen markets, including domain name
investment, means a lot to the other world markets.
The World Population
as at October 10, 2015: World Populations:7,372,969,317
Chinese Population: 1,404,354,046 (21.97% of the entire world)
World Internet Users:
The World: 2014 = 2,925,349,355 and i
n 2015 to date= 3,223,031,400,
n 2015 to date= 3,223,031,400,
The Chinese Internet users:
in 2014 = 641,601,070 and that is 25.55% of the total
world Internet usages.
3.
There is another strong factor as published on news week of on the 22nd of July, 2015, that China is eagerly ready to invest $6.4 trillion in assets to $20 trillion
by 2020 of cash everywhere abroad; they are very ready to spend huge sum of money
to buy so many properties that could improve their economy back home.
This is happening as a result of
falling in their stocks and domestic real estate market and in order for them
to replenish their economy; their government is willing to ease the stringent
restrictions that they have seen as the medium of problem for their economy.
Domain name is one of their
targeted properties, though, domain name is not seen as a foreign property, on which
they are now investing with the believe that, when they buy cheap and kept for
sometime could be profitable when they are selling, it has got so high that - can you imagine that they are even buying what they considered as premium domains from end users for resale.
Residential properties amounting to 16 percent were being purchased in United States by the Chinese investors and they just began.

In our next episode, we shall
write on the types of Chinese Premium Domain Names on which they are investing.
