In This era Of Chinese Investors - Are Keyword Domains Still Relevant?

As I woke up this morning, a thought came across my mind about the relevancy of keyword domain names in this surged era of Chinese investors in domain industry. I was so curious, about the relevancy of keyword domains in this era of Chinese short domains. I kept asking myself on why such feeling came into my mind? I then retorted, and then realized that the ongoing trend in which Chinese investors are dominating the market with shorts and numeric domains and in addition to the previous reduction of the power of keyword domains by Google to the barest minimum, were the foundation of my feelings.

Following that, I sat down and asked myself these few questions:

What are keywords?
What are the relevance of keyword and domain name?
How to find keyword domains?
Who are the people in need of keyword domains?
How to sell keyword domains?

Where to Get Cheap Domain Names?

Every knowledgeable domain investor knew what a cheap domain name means to be. But for purpose of startups, cheap domains are domains that can be registered below the normal price of registration fee and also those that can be purchased at a very low price in the aftermarket auctions; sometimes, in the forums. In these contexts, we mean all aspects of domain registrations, buying and selling of domain names at cheap prices.Having said that, there is the need to start with the first one which is cheap domain registration; cheap domain name registration can be registered from any of the registrars which are either making sales promotion. Sales promotions usually come up at the beginning of the year or at the tail end of the year or around any festive season.

There are several places where you can get cheap domain name registered; previously, godaddy was very generous, but now, they have reduced their generous concept to the new customers only. The new comers or startups can up till now enjoy their promo codes at first time only and no longer suitable for domain investors anymore.

In this write-up we shall review some domain registrars that are selling cheap at this particular period:
We are pleased to bring to you the following 9 registrars for your new registrations in this 2015 yuletide season.
  1. Godaddy.com sold .com for only new comers for $2.99, .org for $7.99, .net for $11.99 while .club goes for $9.99. Their renewal fees are a bit high.  Please Continue Reading

Domain Name Investment Startups’ EBook

In the recent time around the world, there are multiple startups coming up in thousands into various online business niches; the inflows are on daily basis, and with the intention of making good cash online in their mind. But those I’m much more concerned about on this write up are especially; domain name startups and their virtual or digital world they tend to enter. Yes! It is a good thing for people to get into business of their choice.

Main reason of writing this material is to correct many of them who are having good intention; but with wrong approaches, those that are having wrong approaches, in the sense that many of them do not have the prerequisite knowledge of the business of their choice. They just dived headlong into the business without first making the necessary research; they ignored the visibility studies and formal training as to how they could run the business successfully.

This article is written on the above subject matters, based on common agitations I received from various domain names’ social sites and on popular demands from those sites members on how could startups make a good entrance into domain business.

Domain name business is a kind of business that looks very simple, yes, it looks simple but, it really, really sucks. It sucks in the sense that the startups thinks about the token amount they could spend for registrations and with the hope of making huge sales as soon as they register a domain name.

Look, dear fellow domain investment startups, you need to learn so many things that makeup good premium domain names. The buyers or end users are not ready to waste their hard earned money for scraps or what are recognized as “dog shits”. Any domain you intend to register must really be a premium valuable property, before anyone can demand for it. If it is so easy, everybody could as well go online and register premium domains for their private businesses or make wealth by so doing.

Patience is a Valuable Trait for Domain Investor
Patience is another major trait for every successful investor, even if you are into Chinese premium domain types or western domain trading; you still need some level of patience. For instance, the old possessed premium chips are more valuable and easy to sell than the new ones, though, you will find buyers for any premium chips; either old or new, but the old one are more costly and valuable than the new ones.

What Makes Premium Domain Names:

Please consider the following factors to register or to buy from the aftermarket:
Western Types or Keyword Domain Names:

·         Number of Google searches for keywords or terms within GTLDs or new gTLDs
·         Reasonable Cost-per-Click of online advertisements that include the TLD as a keyword
·         Number of registered extensions like .com, .net etc domains that include the nTLD at the end of the keyword (e.g. forsale.com as compared with for.sale)
  • Above all “Short” is a major factor of premium domains, if it is not keyword, I.e
Dictionary words are the best premiere premium domain names. Hence, they are no longer availabl. Keyword, Exact match and Brandables are the next options.
You can get all of the above factors on Google Tool Planner. You only need to have Gmail inbox address to register with Google planner tools.

Forbes 1000 World’s Billionaires - Why Are there none Domain Investor on that List?

http://i.huffpost.com
Having viewed through the list of 1000 World Billionaires on forbes website; I could not find anyone among domain investors on that list, and from hence, I have being asking myself series of questions as to why not a single domain investor on that list. There are several people running minor businesses that could not be compared to domain investment on that list.

There are people from differs background and professions and some that I could recognize as petty sales personnel such as iced cream and coffee sellers on that list. Could it mean domain business is not so dynamic and lucrative, that no one among domain investors could make that list? What baffles me was that, on several occasions, I have heard of many sales of domains worth six and seven figures; even written in black and white on dnjournal’s and namebio.com, same on sedo’s market list and on dnsalesprce.com.  Are there no more domains that could afford any one among domain gurus and genius to make that list?

The Best ccTLD for Chinese Domain Investors is .CC

Among all ccTLDs, there is one country code that is much more referenced by the Chinese investors; the .CC extension of Cocos (keeling) Island is their choice of country codes. I see many reasons for that, as it may not be far-fetched behind the so many acronymic meanings it has on internet environment and also in various human endeavors.

The internet citizen fellows love using short forms on their many online dealings, the .cc has meaning for country codes, cycling, cyclone or cyclical and clip converter etc; clip converter is  a free online apps that enables downloading and conversion of YouTube videos.  .CC is also well recognized as a very popular extension among Church Community and being used as the short form for Conference Centers, and Chat Clubs etc.
